This is a good one for real.
A very well made product using quality materials. No leaks, and the tubes were straight and concentric. I’m the critical **** who checks everything with a digital caliper. In 25 years of professional goings-on...I’ve spent more for a lesser quality component. I am easily unimpressed, but I have to say...I will ONLY use Bear River products going forward.
I didn't get charged an extra $60 duty tax this time. First time I bought from them, duty tax from DHL hit me. Wasn't impressed than, product is great quality, wish they would exhaust powder coat it so when I do it myself doesn't void warranty. Overall great people to deal with, great quality, and good prices. Just be careful of surprise duty charges upon delivery in Canada. Wouldn't mind if you expanded too Y pipes as well for older Square body trucks. Cause I'd no doubt would have bought that from you as well.
Came on time, good product
received what I ordered quickly
Y pipe work out great. Fit like a glove.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
I have a 3" full race downpipe that I want to connect to my stock 2.25 dual catback. This is for a turbo mustang with a little over 400 hp. What y pipe size would be best, and what grade of stainless do you recommend?
This size Y-pipe sounds like the size you need.
As far as stainless grades, the high-grade 304SS is your best option for being truly rust resistant long term. Especially if you live in an area with high humidity, harsh winters, or if salt is used on the roads.
The mid-grade 409SS is more affordable, but you get what you pay for. It holds up well in low humidity areas, but depending on the types of weather conditions in your area, it can start to rust over time.
