AccuSeal "Band" Clamp
Band clamps utilize a strong band which is tightened around the joint. Reaction block construction provides 360º equal distribution of stretching force for a complete seal. Combines joints without crimping, grooving, or distorting the pipe. Depending on the design, this type of clamp is less prone to leaks, and is a good way to secure parts together without the use of welds.
TorcTite “Lap-Joint” Band Clamp
Lap-joint clamps are best when cosmetic appearance is important, as well as serviceability of the joint. This would include exhaust tips, mufflers, catback systems, racing exhaust, and show cars. This type of clamp is much easier to separate should a component ever need to be removed or replaced, so if disassembly is important, this clamp would be preferred over band or saddle clamps. This type of clamp does require that the sections being clamped have sufficient lengths of straight pipe leading into it.This clamp will not work properly if installed too closely to a bend.
EasySeal “Butt-Joint” Band Clamp
Butt-joint clamps are also a good choice when cosmetic appearance is important. This type of clamp is for connecting two pipes that have the same outside diameter.
This clamp comes disassembled and conforms to the pipe upon installation. Reaction block and forced bar for complete inner circle seal. This type of clamp does require that the sections being clamped have sufficient lengths of straight pipe leading into it.
This clamp will not work properly if installed too closely to a bend.
SureSeal “Double Band” Clamp
This award winning clamp is the strongest clamp ever made. When serviceability and having a tight seal are the most important factors you are looking for, this is the clamp for you. This clamp WILL NEVER FAIL. Don't be fooled into thinking "it looks like a couple of wires" because once you use it, you won't want to use anything else!
This type of clamp does require that the sections being clamped have sufficient lengths of straight pipe leading into it.
